Share your talent!

Are you an actor? A music teacher? A muralist? We are always looking for amazing artists and educators who are willing to share their time and talents with our young people.

As we are a new organization, started during a pandemic, we do not currently have any long-term positions available. However, in response to COVID-19 we have launched a series of virtual and socially distant artistic opportunities for teens, prior to launching our after school program pilot. With schools going virtual and families choosing to keep their kids home, now more than ever, teens are in need of a creative release. Art, creativity, and self expression are powerful tools, especially during difficult times. While COVID has already taken a lot, our goal is to give something back. Something young people can get excited about and continue creativity and skill building outside of school hours.

That's where you come in! We are looking for educators and professional artists to help us bring amazing programming to young people. We are open to all sorts of ideas, and would love to hear your thoughts about what you could offer. Some examples of programs, included:

  • A monologue workshop

  • A mural project

  • A dance class

  • A creative writing workshop

The options are endless!

Couldn't think of a better way to spend the weekend than with emerging artists and authors through a beautifully facilitated pop-up event by Cescily Phillips, founder of Inspired Aesthetics. If you aren't already following her transformative work with high school kids in the KC area, you should be!
